Tea Biscuits

2 c flour
2 heaping tbsp shortening
2 heaping tsp baking powder
1/4 c sugar
1 c milk
1/2 tsp salt

Pat onto flour surface. Cut into rounds with cutter or glass dipped in flour.
Bake for 10 minutes at 450.

Mom's tea biscuits are also great if you add blueberries, raisions or grated cheese.
